Could this be the week we get a Green WECA mayor? The bookies are tipping a very narrow Green win in the WECA mayoral race for our candidate Mary Page. A YouGov poll at the end of last week put the Green Party in first place. The tactical voting site Stop Reform UK is also recommending a Green vote. But every prediction expects the result to be tight, and the More In Common poll predicts a Labour win.
The fact this is even being talked about shows just how far our party has come, and that we’re being taken more seriously than ever. But all this potential victory will only happen if we get out and campaign for Mary, and vote for Mary.
Local Greens have been working really hard across South Gloucestershire, delivering more leaflets than we have in any previous election in the district. But we could deliver even more!
