We have delivered a petition to South Glos Council opposing the planned throughabouts on the A4174 ring road.
Our petition calls for the Council to investigate other more appropriate ways of reducing congestion in our area. And nearly 1,400 local residents signed it in just a couple of weeks.
Earlier this month, Emersons Green Town Councillor James Dowling explained our concerns on local radio.
Protest at Council meeting tonight!
We delivered the petition in advance of this evening’s full Council meeting at Yate Leisure Centre. Concerned residents will also be protesting outside the meeting from 5.45pm. Please go along if you can – and bring a placard!
