Online Briefing: Yate Active Travel Proposals
We support proposals for improved cycling, walking and wheeling infrastructure along the A432 through Yate and Coalpit Heath. These crucial improvements are in danger of being watered down or shelved, so we encourage all local members to have their say.
We've written a blog post with advice on completing the online survey, and Rowan on the organising committee is hosting a Zoom briefing on Wednesday 14th August at 7pm, presenting the current proposals and taking any questions you might have:

Our next members' meeting
Wednesday 4th September, 7pm, online
Our next members event is an online meet up on the first Wednesday in September. These are a chance to come together, link up with other Greens in our area and find out more about our campaigns. As well as discussion space, this time we will be hearing from some of our elected Town and Parish Councillors about how they are making a difference locally and where their roles sit in the various tiers of government.
End of year social
Date tbc but in December, in person
In December we usually meet for a meal or drinks - and we are keen to hear your ideas of where to meet.
Other social events
It is great to get together and get to know each other better. In the past we have met for walks, cafe visits, evening drinks and meals, as well as getting together for election campaigns. If you have ideas for social events or locations, or are having an event you would like to invite local party members to then please email enquiries@southglos.greenparty.org.uk.
